Donafoods is the first company in Vietnam cashew industry being certified ISO 9001:2000 under HACCP standards by BVQI from UK. Since 2002, the company has invested millions of USD to build a factory for processing cashew kernels following GMP standards, which is considerred as “first class” factory in the World. Products of Donafoods have been favourite food with high and stable quality in developed countries. In order to take the initiative in productions, Donafoods has been close-knit with cashew plantation, and built 8 satellite factories at cashew areas. All those factories have applied and been certified BRC, HACCP, ISO, GPM standards. At present, the company’s main products are:
- Cashew kernels: 8,000 tons/ year.
- Roasted cashew kernels: 1,000 tons/ year.
- Cashew nust shell liquid: 10,000 tons/year.
Main markets of Donafoods includes: Australia, New Zealand, North America, Europe, Middle East, China, Japan, Russia and Ukraine, etc.
Donafoods changed to operate in new form of parent and subsidiary companies in 2005 with legal capital of over 20 million USD and more than 5,000 employees. Since 2015, Donafoods has become a subsidiary of Tin Nghia Corp., upon Donafoods’ equitization. For 28 years of development since its inception in 1989, Tin Nghia has become one of the Dong Nai’s largest business enterprises with 10 subsidiaries (more than 50% equity), 3 divisions and 6 affiliates (less than 50% equity). Annual revenue boasts over 440million USD. Tin Nghia was also selected as one of the Vietnam’s top 200 businesses by UNDP.
At present, Donafoods is conducting a project of planting –processing –selling- organic cashew kernels. This project will give “clean” products: “Clean” in environment, “Clean” ingredient, and ensure safe natural environment as well as food safety for consumers.
